As we look for a little one to bring into our family, our hearts are wide open. We have no doubt that our love for an adopted child will be instantaneous and forever lasting – we’ve been envisioning that embrace. As a family, our priority is making time for each other. Whether it’s dressing in matching clothes to go out or playing stomping dinosaurs around the house, we enjoy the simple moments of parenting.
We feel most alive when we’re exploring the outdoors. We love seeing beautiful sites in an active way. Although our pace is slower on outings with our little guy, it allows us to see things through his eyes. Bike rides and hikes take longer than they used to, but we now stop to check out the bugs and rocks along the way. We have an appreciation for the small things, and want to make life an awesome adventure for our children.
