As far as marriage goes, Shellie and Ty are living the dream. They’ve got an incredible partnership that shows in both their marriage and their parenting. Their son is so so lucky to have parents who are patient, compassionate, selfless, open-minded, adventurous, and SO much fun. Their friends and family feel blessed to have them in their lives. I hope anyone looking for an adoptive family will consider placing their child with Shellie and Ty.

I have known Shellie for the majority of my life, and I have always looked up to her for her dedication to be the best person she can be. This dedication is apparent in all areas of her life from her work, friends, community, but above all her little family. She and Tyler make a great team and are amazing parents to their little boy. They truly are the goofy, fun-loving, caring, and all around good people and family next door. To say a child would be lucky and blessed to become part of this family is an understatement.

What more can I say than Shellie, Ty and Remi are the absolute best! We are lucky enough to be their next door neighbors. I love when I hear a little “Remi knock” at my front door and would love more than anything for there to be two little knocks at my front door! Tyler and Shellie are truly two of the greatest people I know. They are the first ones to offer to help when needed and are genuinely kind. They always take the time to talk to my kids and actually listen to what they have to say, which to me says a lot about a person! When I leave my daughter home to tend as long as she knows Ty and Shellie are home next door she feels absolutely safe because she knows she can ask them for help with anything! I could go on and on, but what it comes down to is that Ty and Shellie two of the best of the best and we love them!

Shellie, Ty and Remi, I am honored to be considered among your friends and so excited about your desire to grow your family through adoption. Shellie, you were only 16 years old when we met. However, I knew then you were a very special person. So smart, so kind, so mature, so cute, so gentle and so sweet. Now 20 years later you are all that and so much more. You are a loving devoted wife to Ty and such an amazing mother to Remi and….. even a highly skilled and respected pediatric nurse! Ty, you are wonderful. Of course, you would have had to have been to have captured Shellie heart. You work hard and play hard. Your love for and commitment to your family is apparent in all you say and do. Your personalities blend so well. You were truly meant for each other. And, precious Remi….you are adorable and have the sweet gentle nature of both of your parents. I wish you all the best as you look to the future and anticipate this next exciting chapter of your lives. What a lucky child he/she will be! Lots of love, Emilie
